Get answers to common questions about Derma-Planning Treatment.
A trained esthetician cleanses your skin, gently uses a sterile blade to remove dead cells and vellus hair, then applies calming serums and SPF. The session typically lasts 30–45 minutes and includes aftercare instructions to minimize sensitivity.
Most clients report no pain—only light pressure and a mild scraping sensation. Temporary redness or sensitivity can occur but usually resolves within 24–48 hours. We use soothing products to ensure comfort throughout and after the treatment.
Downtime is minimal; many return to daily activities immediately. Mild redness or sensitivity may last a day or two. Avoid direct sun, harsh exfoliants, and intense workouts for 24–48 hours while using SPF and gentle skincare.
Derma-planning suits most skin types, especially those concerned with texture, peach fuzz, and dullness. Clients with active acne, open lesions, or certain skin conditions should consult our estheticians to determine suitability and any necessary modifications.
For ongoing maintenance and improvement, schedule sessions every 4–6 weeks. Frequency is tailored to your skin type, concerns, and response; some clients space treatments further apart after achieving their desired texture and glow.
Derma-planning is a manual blade exfoliation targeting surface dead cells and fine hair with minimal irritation. Microdermabrasion mechanically abrades the skin, while chemical peels use acids to penetrate deeper. Choice depends on skin needs and desired downtime.
